The leather is thick and soft. I wear them every day all day at home. The quality is good, but the stitching on the sole is single, not double as shown in the picture. I just bought another pair because the stitching on the first pair is coming out. As you can see in my photo, there is only single stitching. If there was double stitching my first pair would have lasted longer. They should change the picture. Losing one star for this.

I have been wearing these moccasins every day for about a month now, and they are working perfectly for me. I usually wear a men's size 10 and these (size 10) fit my foot perfectly. The double sole is just thick enough to provide a bit of cushion on hard tile floors, but soft and flexible when walking. They slip on and off easily without requiring me to bend over to provide hand assist. They DO NOT have any of the stupid fake sheepskin lining that always makes my feet sweat. They are very light weight on my feet but seem well constructed. I like them so much I just ordered a second pair to hold in reserve, in case SoftMoc ever stops making them. I highly recommend this product without any reservation!

Ordered these after being very disappointed with the current quality of our old standby brand we’ve had for years. I am extremely happy with the quality and fit of these moose hide moccasins. I have found no hidden flaws in the hide or the stitching. The laces are built of the same leather as the Moc (these aren’t going to easily come apart in your hand). The double sole is soft, pliable, and proctective while not being overdone. It is very evident that the manufacturer takes pride in the product they are turning out. These moccasins are made and shipped from Canada. Shipping time was very reasonable. I wear size 11.5 in most shoes so I purchased size 12, the fit was perfect for me.
