Works great easy to install and get up and running. I am excited for this years hunt.
You have to Format the cards and you have to make sure that you are using a 10speed memory card or it will not work. The setup is easy you just take a picture in their app of the QR code and it shows up on your camera. To save batteries I only have it upload every 6 hours. They work great I just wish i could turn the sensitivity down a bit more because we have a lot of dry grass in the west and it takes about 50 pictures a day of grass swaying in the wind.

The key to this camera is to have good cell service where the camera is stationed. if you dont have service where you hunt you might want to get a regular teail camera and not a cellular camera.
The camera is very good, the pics on the sd card are crisp and clear, the pics sent to my phone not as good but good enough to tell what your looking at , to count points and so on. Beats going up every couple of weeks to check your camera and spooking game in the process.
The app for the camera not as good as I had hoped. It has some glitches but after using it over the past few months I found a way to work around the glitches
The battery life is very good if you set your camera to send pictures once a week. If you set it on instant transfer every time it takes a picture it kills your batteries quick. I had it set on instant and in 6 days my batteries were down to 60% weeks my normal alkaline batteries. I changed it to once a day and 2 weeks later the batteries were down to 50%. So once a day it would send me all the pics it took that day. So it sends one text instead of 50 saving battery life.
I switched to Energizer lithium ultra and have had it on instant now for a week and still at 99 percent. So good batteries are a must.
Overall I'm very pleased with my camera and will be buying more.
Update 09/14/2019 I still like the cameras, but the app really needs work, the battery life meter does not work, after 3 weeks out in the field will say 100% life and in reality it is totally dead. I have 2 cameras the micro and the evo, both are great but both have the same battery meter problem. I'm still looking to get another one hoping they improve the app.

This camera was priced right for a newcomer. I had an older trail cam with standard SD card only image storage but I wanted one with cell tower connect, so I considered the reviews and went for it. It was pretty easy to set up including registering for the SIM card connection, and was working in 15 minutes. They warn you that setting it for immediate upload of pics will use the battery up quickly, but there is a settings menu in the phone app to check the signal and battery levels so you can decide which is working best for you. Using it for tracking game, you may be okay with once or twice a day uploads (the images are stored on the SD card first) but if you are using it for security the instant upload is what you want. It took more than 160 pics in 3 weeks and the 8 AA batteries are still at about 80%. There are solar powering adapters available to buy also.

Avoid aiming at at areas where shadows will move with the wind, as even on Low sensitivity it was snapping pics.

I needed it to back up existing wifi security cameras in case of a power or internet loss while away on vacation, but now that I am home I will move it to a place on my property where critters have been making use of a trail. You get a free month of the paid subscription level ($10 a month), and after that you get the free default level of 100 pics a month.

UPDATE I had contacted tech support (no problem there) and they warned me using less than top line batteries was the cause of some of my problems. I put Rayovacs in there, they leaked and now my camera is shot.

CRAP- don’t waste your money: Per ratings this would seem to be one of the best cellular cameras out there. Looking at reviews it’s half saying it’s great for the money- other half say it’s crap.. well I confirm this is crap. App says it’s working- app directions seem rather easy- however manual and app don’t match. It only took a couple day pics- then night pics just grey nothing and took 6pics in the same 15mins- then no further pics period . Has excellent service where it is. Multiple App configurations and still no pics after it’s been set and you leave thinking “oh it’s working”. Well I can greatly advise against even considering this product- NO ONE is getting accurate eyes on Anything with this camera or the app. And how it sucked up as much battery life as it did, have no idea. Total of 46 pics messing around and the handful of pics mostly useless grey blob. Only had camera two days. Junk - wasted 2 days w this unreliable camera, not to mention the driving around and now having to scramble to find other means of getting a reliable camera in the area I need to be.

After upgrading the camera firmware the camera still didn’t work I called support and there response is it takes up to 12 hours for the cellular to turn on bu the next morning the camera was up and working. Testing and playing with the camera I had it set to send pictures each detection it killed the battery’s in 1 day if you set it to send pictures 1 or twice a day the batteries will last much longer. For the price and if you only want pictures this is a great deal for the money. I haven’t been able to put the camera out in the woods because it has been raining everyday but I will as soon as things dry out soon. I will add pictures when I get the camera out in the Everglades. P.S the app works great and very helpful learning the setup.

I had good luck with another SPYPOINT camera so I tried this one as well. I had to for the price point. Let me first say, this is not the high-end camera some of the other SPYPOINT cameras are. This is entry-level (the price tag should tell you that), but for a cellular camera, you're still getting a lot for the money. The lack of video mode doesn't affect me because I rarely use it anyway, and never on my cell cams. Like my other SPYPOINT cams, the setup is easy, only taking a couple minutes. Their app is super simple to use as well. All the camera settings are managed from that, and it's really easy. I'll be adding several of these to my camera stable this year.

For what the camera is, it does a good job, sensitivity works, little to no false positives, signal seems above average compared to other Spypoint cameras, it’s antenna is bigger, picture quality over phone app is pretty good, object framing is great, subject is in the middle of photo, this is a 5 star camera but I’m giving 4 because it’s a pain in the ass to line up the shot... they should place on the phone app the ability to take one photo on demand do you can line it up much easier instead of waiting about 15 mins in poor cell service areas, but great scouting camera,
